There are many ways to be involved in worship at First Baptist Church of Reading. We offer a blended service with some of the newest Christian contemporary songs alongside traditional hymns.Whether your gift is singing, playing an instrument, public speaking or drama, FBC Reading has a place for YOU.
The Worship Choir and Praise Band are the primary leading groups for Sunday mornings. The Worship Choir also presents seasonal programs for Christmas and Easter.
All groups have open enrollment and new members may join at any time. If you are interested in joining any of our music groups, please contact our Director of Music and Worship Arts Ministries, Dr. Kellie S. Tropeano
Wednesday Nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room
Come and join this friendly and devoted group of believers as we lead the congregation in worship each Sunday. We assure you that you will be blessed both by the spiritual and uplifting music and also by the wonderful group of men and women who love the Lord, love this church, and love music.
Worship Musical - Let the Whole World Sing
The worship choir is excited to present a beautiful worship musical for Christmas this year on Sunday December 24 at 10:45 a.m. We are starting to rehearse the music this week and we'd love to invite everyone to join us! You do not need to have singing experience at all, just come and learn the music and sing with us on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please see Kellie Tropeano or anyone in the worship choir.
Sunday mornings 8:30 a.m.
Our Praise Band is always looking for new singers and instrumentalists. You do not have to audition, just bring a passion for worship and a love for the Lord. Please email Dr. Kellie S. Tropeano if you have any questions
First Baptist Church also offers opportunities for children to participate in a choir experience. All children in Pre-K through Grade 5 are invited to sing in the Kid’s Choir during Kid’s Church. The Kid’s Choir sang "No Turning Back" with the Worship Choir on Sunday, October 22.
Sing to Him a new song, play skillfully and shout for joy. Psalm 33:3
