Community Garden at FBC

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH COMMUNITY GARDENS

____________________________________________________________________________

The community garden at FBC is a space where people can come together and grow their own food. These garden spaces function as outdoor engagement centers that can improve people’s access to fresh food, physical activity and connections with our neighbors. Ryan Monahan designed and built these garden spaces for us as part of his Eagle Scout project. We have 5’ by 10’ and 5’ by 5’ raised garden beds. As God has blessed us, we would like to bless our community with access to these gardens for free. If you have any questions please email the church office circleemail

If you are interested in having a garden space please fill out the Registration Form and sign the Community Gardener Guidelines and Rules and return them to the First Baptist Church of Reading 45 Woburn St., Reading MA 01867. Our gardens are free but space is limited, so please return completed and signed forms by April 15, 2018. Gardeners will be chosen to receive a garden space in the order we receive the completed applications.
