As part of the preparation for our upcoming Youth Group Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic, we will be screening a film. This is a documentary called The Price of Sugar, which calls attention to the plight of Haitians in the Dominican Republic who work on sugar plantations. This is the same group of people that we will be ministering to this summer, so it is highly relevant to our summer trip. It is 90 minutes long. A short discussion will follow the film screening. All members of the congregation are invited to participate in this; you do not need to be a member of the Youth Group! Snacks will be provided, including some yummy homemade popcorn
