Adult Small Groups at FBC

From brokenness to wholeness in Christ

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:12-14

Community Garden at FBC

The community garden at FBC is a space where people can come together and grow their own food. These garden spaces function as outdoor engagement centers that can improve people’s access to fresh food, physical activity and connections with our neighbors. Ryan Monahan designed and built these garden spaces for us as part of his Eagle Scout project. We have sixteen, 5’ by 10’ raised garden beds. As God has blessed us, we would like to bless our community with access to these gardens. If you are interested in having a garden space please email the office at office@fbcreading.org or call 781-944-3876.

Little Free Pantry at FBC

We see our neighbors struggling daily with the cost of food. Many come to the church hungry asking for help. We don’t always have the resources available, but our loving, kind God has given us an idea to help our neighbors while also relying on our other neighbors to help and contribute.

Our Little Free Library out in front of the church has many contributors. Neighbors enjoy dropping off books. And that is our hope with a Little Free Pantry – that our neighbors will help contribute non-perishable grocery items, personal hygiene products and paper products.

Think of it as a neighborhood “mini pantry” where those that have will give and those that are in need may freely take.
