Here at MOPS, we gather moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together.
What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a faith-based organization that connects, supports, and encourages moms across the country. Our MOPS group will meet in Reading at First Baptist Church but MOPS meets in over 60 countries. If you want to find out more about MOPS, please go to www.mops.org
What to Expect:
Our monthly meetings are a place to relax, chat, and connect with other moms. A MOPS meeting includes prayer, practical teachings through videos, group discussions and creative activities. We will provide coffee and members volunteer to bring snacks.
Who can come?
If you are expecting or have an infant, toddler or preschooler.
We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open.
What do our children do during the meeting?
During meetings, your little ones will be cared for by caretakers who will teach the PUGGLES kids curriculum so you can relax and have a whole conversation while your coffee is still hot! This time will include free play, bible story, snack, and craft.
How do I register?
There are 2 steps to registering for MOPS
1) Go to www.mops.org and register on their website. The cost is $31.95 for a MOPS membership. Our group code is: GA31
2) Go to our google form to register: Registration for MOPS FBC Reading Child Care Program. The cost is $50 per semester or $100 per year. This is our membership fee which will cover childcare costs, activities, snacks and thank you gifts for volunteers.
