Youth Mission Trip: August 20 - 24, 2017

Our FBC Youth Ministry traveled to The Fold Family Ministries in Vermont this summer. The Fold ministers to troubled teens and gives them a safe community where they can grow and learn. To learn more about the Fold, please click here! The youth did a lot of physical labor on this trip; they cleaned up the grounds and fixed things - our church family prayed that God would sustain and watch over them and He did!! They were a blessing to all they come in contact with and they glorified our loving Father!

The men took a few hours Sunday afternoon and served dinner to homeless people at the Cor Unum Meal Center, 191 Salem St., Lawrence MA. They prepared/served dinner and cleaned up.

Youth Mission Trip: August  14 - 15, 2016

Six members of our Youth Ministry went to Boston and assisted with different ministries and learned more about how God works in the city! We partnered with a missions agency called the Center for Student Missions (CSM), which specializes in connecting church youth ministries with organizations that are already established and doing effective ministry in their city. One of our missionaries, Courtney Gingras, works for CSM in Boston and she helped us on this trip! Some of the ministries we worked with included a homeless shelter and an after-school program for inner city children.

Haiti Mission Trip: May 20 - May 28

Bethany LeCain and Alice Falcone represented FBC Reading on a mission trip to Haiti.

Thank you to everyone who donated supplies for the Haiti trip. Along with providing school supplies, toiletries, and soccer balls for the children at the orphanage and school, your donations helped create 25 sewing kits, which will be distributed to each of the sewing class participants! We are also very grateful to those who made it possible to bring several sewing machines that will be left with the orphanage. Please join us in praying that God will use these donations and the sewing class to further His kingdom in Haiti.
